1. Respect people
Do not harass, threaten, stalk, shame or target people. Hate speech and discrimination based on protected characteristics are prohibited. Disagreement is allowed; personal attacks are not.
2. Protect privacy and safety
Do not share another person’s private information, credentials, private messages or identifying details without permission. Never encourage self-harm, violence or dangerous acts. Sexual exploitation and sexual content involving minors are forbidden and may be reported to authorities.
3. Keep content appropriate
Do not post illegal content, malware, scams, phishing, graphic sexual content, excessive gore or content designed primarily to shock. Use the appropriate forum category and avoid spam, repeated promotions and disruptive formatting.
4. Play fairly
Do not use cheats, unauthorized automation, exploits, duplication bugs, x-ray tools or other unfair advantages. Do not evade punishments or help others do so. Report security and gameplay exploits privately instead of publishing instructions.
5. Be honest
Do not impersonate staff, developers or other players. Do not fabricate evidence, manipulate reports or claim an unofficial project is endorsed by YugiSMP. Clearly disclose relevant conflicts when promoting a project.
6. Developer conduct
Developers must protect API keys, minimize collected player data, follow approved scopes and respect player privacy. Bots and integrations must not spam channels or create unfair gameplay advantages.
7. Reporting
Use the official YugiSMP support or moderation channel to report rule violations. Include relevant links, usernames and evidence. Do not organize public harassment or retaliation against a reported user.
8. Enforcement
Moderators consider context, severity, history and risk. Actions may include content removal, warning, mute, feature restriction, statistic correction, API-key revocation, project suspension or account ban. Immediate action may be taken when necessary for safety or security.
9. Appeals
You may submit a concise appeal through the official support channel. Explain the decision you are appealing and provide relevant evidence. Abusive, repetitive or dishonest appeals may be closed without further response.
10. Spirit of the rules
No document can list every harmful behavior. Attempts to exploit technical wording while undermining fair play, safety or the community may still result in enforcement.
