1. Acceptance
By accessing or using YugiSMP, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and any rules shown inside the Services. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you use the Services for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to accept these Terms. Users under the age of majority must have permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for activity under your Discord-linked session, Minecraft account and API credentials. Do not share access credentials or impersonate another person.
3. Permitted use
You may use the Services for personal gameplay, community participation and approved development projects. You must follow applicable law, server rules, staff instructions and technical limits.
4. Prohibited conduct
- Cheating, exploiting bugs, evading bans or interfering with fair gameplay.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, doxxing, sexual exploitation or illegal content.
- Malware, denial-of-service attacks, credential theft or attempts to bypass authentication, scopes or rate limits.
- Unauthorized scraping, automated account creation, reverse engineering intended to defeat security, or probing systems without written permission.
- Using the Services or player data to stalk, profile, discriminate against or harm anyone.
- Misrepresenting affiliation with YugiSMP, Mojang Studios or Microsoft.
5. User content
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant YugiSMP a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, moderate and distribute that content only as reasonably needed to operate, promote and protect the Services. You confirm that you have the necessary rights to submit it. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or creates risk.
6. Virtual items and statistics
Gameplay statistics, ranks, achievements, virtual currency, gems and other in-game items have no guaranteed cash value unless YugiSMP expressly states otherwise. We may correct inaccurate data, rebalance gameplay, reset seasons or remove items obtained through errors or abuse.
7. Enforcement
We may warn, mute, remove content, restrict features, revoke API keys, suspend projects, reset affected data or ban accounts when we reasonably believe rules were violated or action is needed to protect the Services. Serious or urgent cases may be handled without advance notice. You may request review through the official support channel.
8. Availability and changes
The Services may change, experience maintenance or become unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, preservation of every statistic or compatibility with every Minecraft version. We may add, remove or modify features and may discontinue a Service.
9. Third-party services
Discord, Minecraft, GitHub and linked websites are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. YugiSMP is not responsible for third-party services. YugiSMP is not an official Minecraft service and is not approved by or associated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft.
10. Intellectual property
The YugiSMP and YugiCore names, original site design, code, graphics and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant permission to use YugiSMP branding in a way that suggests endorsement. Minecraft names and assets belong to their respective owners.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Services will be error-free, secure or continuously available.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, YugiSMP and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of data, lost profits or loss of goodwill arising from the Services. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability for claims arising during the previous twelve months is limited to the greater of the amount you paid YugiSMP for the affected Service during that period or US $25. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify YugiSMP from claims, losses and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms or another person’s rights.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Before filing a formal claim, both sides agree to attempt to resolve the issue through the official support channel.
15. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the date above. Material changes may be announced through the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination will remain effective.
